Dagens Musiktips : Hela listan..Eller grand deluxe 33!

Sticky Fingers i Göteborg (2:a) och Kägelbanan i Stockholm (3:e). Ligger på önskelistan.

Nattramn

The Miser

Lewis and the Strange Magics

 In Swenglish:

Oops, it's almost a year since the last Grand Delux List! We have to remedy this with one who has a little extra of everything with these sonic sweets. This will be a collection of music that summarizes where I find myself musicaly these days.

Black Mirrors
Belgian Black Mirrors are probably this list the band with the most modern sound image, without losing their roots. Magicaly sweeping vocals with a leadheavy musical backdrop. You have also the chance to see them on stage here in Sweden at the beginning of May. Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg (2nd) and Kägelbanan in Stockholm (3rd). High on my wish list.

Nattramn
A trio from Kristinehamn, not to be confused with the musician/writer Mikael Nilsson
(as far as I know?) who went under the same name. Here it is the more 70's oozing swinging rock in Swedish instead of Black Metal a'la Silencer that the namesake were in. And no one is happier than me for that, for this is really listenable music.

Pushy
Here we are talking about music that really gives retro vibes. Pushy from Portland manages to capture both the soundscape and the songwriting craftsmanship of bygone days. Absolutely wonderful. Meaty guitars and a stomp that make it really hard to stand still.

The Miser

Even The Miser, from London, manages to capture a spirit of time that has fled. But from a slightly different angle. A little more Metal and dark. So damn good.

Custom Black

Custom Black slides between NWOBHM, Stoner and Doom in an incredibly nice way and creates a lead-heavy sound image that only leaves you wanting more.

Lewis and the Strange Magics

This EP by Lewis and the Strange Magics from Barcelona stands out a little with the soundscape compared to the others. Sure, it is 70's, but here it is a more funky psychedelic fusion sound image. Like a soundtrack from a seedy New York. It might as well be the soundtrack to the movie "The Warriors" as a porn movie of the time. Apparently, a new EP comes shortly, so who knows, maybe it will be more to write about them.
