Nästa ut på den banan är Massive med sin tredje skiva, Rebuild Destroy (1:a Februari) är givetvis inget undantag från den regeln.
Massor av svängig, högoktanig - kan inte sitta stilla - rock.
Visst, det är kanske inte den mest livsomvälvande musiken, med djuplodande och mångbottnade texter, men ibland behövs bara lite låtar i pint-storlek och fan anamma. Och det får man här. Massor, renodlad förfest och partyrock.
Det är en massiv palett som målas upp. När det drar på som bäst så kan man skönja lite Sex Pistols, Green Day och Rose Tattoo, men det låter snarare som ett omedvetet lånande än utstuderad stöld. Det är som sagt en ganska ösig och röjig platta, men den har givetvis ett par andningshål, dels i den bluesiga "Face In The Crowd" men även sista låten, "A Mile In My Shoes" som drar iväg mot det svulstiga arena singalong spåret.
På hela taget en skiva väl värd att lyssna in sig på. Det får bli en väldigt Massiv 3:a för grabbarna i Massive. Rekommenderas!

A branch in the Hard Rock Olympics, which Australia has been prominent in the past, is 100 meter beersoaked party rock.
Next band out on that track is Massive with their third album, Rebuild Destroy (1st February) wich is, of course, no exception to that rule.
Lots of groovy, high octane - can't sit still - rock.
Certainly, it is perhaps not the most lifealtering music, with deep and multifaceted lyrics, but sometimes it's just a little bit of pint-size and gutsy songs that we need. And you get it here. Lots, pure pre-party rock.
It is a massive palette that is painted. When it rocks out at its best, you can hear hints of Sex Pistols, Green Day and Rose Tattoo, but it sounds rather like an unconscious borrowing than real theft. It is, as I said, a full speed ahead record, but of course it has a couple of breathing holes as well, partly in the bluesy "Face In The Crowd" but also the last song, "A Mile In My Shoes" that pulls off towards the bigger than life arena singalong feeling.

On the whole a record well worth listening to. The score must be a very massive 3 for the guys in Massive. Recommended!
