Att grabbarna i bandet har ett öra för bra musik är en underdrift, det finns en salig blandning av lån från tidigare storheter, men man lånar med finess och lyckas väva in de små diamanterna i sitt eget Supralunar DNA.
Allt från det inledande Ozzy osande riffet till de svängiga Beatles melodierna och mer därtill. Nya plattan tar återigen sin avstamp i 70-talet, men det som på förra plattan var mer renodlat partyglammande har här fått en lite hårdare och mörkare ton. Man har fört in lite svärta i mixen som i mina öron bara är av godo. Utan att för den skull tappa sin radiovänlighet, för det är tidlös Rock som skulle kunna hamna högt på radiolistor om det nu fanns någon rättvisa i den mediala världen.
Förutom alla svängiga låtar innehåller skivan även en rejäl powerballad, "My Epiphany", som framförs som duett tillsammans med Noelle LeBlanc. Suverän sång och ett rent otroligt gitarrsolo.
Jag kan inte annat än att, precis som debuten A New Hope, ge denna platta en stabil 4:a.
Ghosts cementerar Supralunar som ett stabilt band som fortsätter leverera både svängiga låtar och ett skönt "swagger", och nu med lite extra skuggor i hörnen.

Supralunar's second album, Ghosts, has been out there for a while on Spotify, but comes in physical format tomorrow.
The fact that the guys in the band have an ear for good music is an understatement, there is a blissful mix of loans from previous giants, but they borrows with finesse and manages to weave these small diamonds into their own Supralunar DNA.
Everything from the initial Ozzy riff on the first song to the swinging of Beatles melodies and more to it. The new album once again takes of from the 70s, but whast on the previous album was more purely party glam, has here received a slightly harder and darker tone. They have brought in some darkness to the mix, which in my ears is only of good. Without losing their radio friendliness, because this is timeless Rock that could end up on radio lists anywhere if there was any justice in the media world.
In addition to all the swinging songs, the album also includes a grand power ballad, "My Epiphany", which is performed as duet together with Noelle LeBlanc. Great song and a truly incredible guitar solo.
I can't do anything else, just as with the debut A New Hope, give this album a stable 4 in rating. Ghosts cement Supralunar as a stable band that continues to deliver both swinging songs and a nice "swagger", and now with some extra shadows in the corners.
